Trish and Steve, would like to welcome our members to their little piece of paradise at Fentonbury. Since moving to their 36 acres they have been busy greeting guests at their hosted bed and breakfast and cooking up a storm for guests as well as for their Long Table Lunches featuring Burmese South East Asian Fusion 5 Course Degustation menu. They have won a slew of accolades for their products with Tasmanian Fine Foods Awards.
We will start with a stroll, with a drink in hand, around their garden and maybe say hello to a few of their animals.
Drinks will be a Harvest Sparkling from Meadowbank Winery, and Pinot Noir from Ryelands Vineyard. Non-alcoholic choices will also be available.
Trish and Steve will tell us about the property, how they got to where they are, their plans for the future and what keeps them motivated!
The two vineyards we are featuring are very different from each other, one small and one big though both are hidden and draw from the River Derwent.
Derek will tell us about his Vineyard and how it is evolving and Mardi or Alex will talk about Meadowbank Winery and the sparkling we are enjoying.
